“М – Chernomorski solnici” AD has available its own chemical laboratory. It is a main unit, upon salt production as well as upon salt processing.
An important moment in the process of salt processing is determination of its quality. Especially important is formation of quality and control over salt, used for food purposes. This is only implemented via chemical analyses, made in the Chemical laboratory. Through it is made also control over the iodine added salt, which is highly important social activity, related to realization of the national policy for liquidation of iodine deficit diseases in Bulgaria.
On the basis of the chemical analyses made by the Chemical laboratory are issued Certificates of analysis for each lot of salt.
The laboratory is equipped with modern apparatuses and there work highly qualified cadres.
