Technology
The technological process is mainly reduced to sea water concentration
into several stages up to the extent of saturation in relation to
sodium chloride. In the beginning of each salt yielding season are used
concentrated sea waters, preserved during the winter period in deep
earth reservoirs – storage basins. After crystallization of the sea
water (layer thickness 3-6 cm), the same is collected, washed in spiral
classifiers and with the help of conveyor belt it is stored outdoor in
the form of pyramidal figures (bohor).
The salt yield is highly fluctuating because the climatic peculiarities of the summer season.
